so death cab premiered a new EP on stereogum on april 3rd and i’ve been itching to post a song or two. it is classic death cab and i think they just put out left over songs from ‘narrow stairs’ that just didn’t make it onto the final release

[death cab for cutie] - grapevine fires

because it is so rainy, grey, and blah outside, i had to post a little bit of a calmer song today. we’ve posted on the old blog before, but this one is so good, i think its okay that we put it up again.

if you dont know yet, you should be on the look out for the new deathcab EP being released on tuesday — ‘the open door’ — which was previewed on stereogum (and its awesome).
